Heard Mr. Kailash Nath Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The instant petition has been filed for the following relief: "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent No. 2 / Deputy Director of Consolidation, District Jaunpur to decide the Revision No. 2612 of 2023, Computerized Case No. 202354143600002612 (Mishrial Vs. Sochanram) under Section 48(1) of the UPCH Act, 1953 within stipulated period of time as directed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. This Court vide order dated 27.2.2025 directed the Deputy Director of Consolidation, District Jaunpur to submit report in the matter. 4. In compliance of the order of this Court, report/instruction dated 20.3.2025 sent by the Deputy Director of Consolidation is already on the record of the writ petition. 5.
