Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to finalize the matter and take appropriate decision about petitioner's Medical leave Application w.e.f 01.04.2017 to 30.11.2017 within stipulated period as deem fit and proper in this case." 2. In the given facts and circumstances, the petition stands disposed of with direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation regarding his claim for the grant of Medical Leave in question within a period of four weeks from today before the competent authority which shall be looked into and considered and shall also be decided as expeditiously as possible preferably within a further period of one month by means of reasoned and speaking order. 3.
