By means of this petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment for his father dying-in-harness on 17.06.2023. Petitioner claims to have also obtain succession certificate. Alongwith certificate and all other academic records petitioner being an elder son of the deceased employee Late Surya Mani Mishra, moved an application seeking compassionate appointment, on 04.07.2023 before the competent authority, however, the same has remained undisposed of till date. It is claimed that respondent no.2 is the competent authority in the matter. 3. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent no.2 to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment strictly in accordance with law and decide the same within a period of two months of production of certified copy of this order
