By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner prays for a direction to the concerned respondent to consider his claim for compassionate appointment as his father died as Executive Engineer working with the respondent establishment at District Bijnor on 25.04.2023. It appears from the records that that the petitioner has obtained a certificate evidencing the members of the family of the deceased on 24.06.2023 and has accordingly moved an application on 18.12.2023 before the Executive Engineer, Afzalgarh Irrigation Division, Dhampur, District Bijnor i.e. respondent no. 3 for consideration of his claim for compassionate appointment. In this regard petitioner has already approached the competent authority by making representations which are still pending consideration. In view of the above, this petition stands dispose
