By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment as his father Late Sudhir Kumar died in harness on 19.10.2021. 2. It transpires from the record that the mother of the petitioner had already approached the competent authority by moving application on 30.09.2025 making a request for giving compassionate appointment to the petitioner and a reminder thereof has been recently made on 07.03.2025 but no decision has been taken till date. 3. In the given facts and circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent no.2 to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated 30.09.2025 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4.
