By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioners are seeking consideration of their candidature for promotion as Sub-Inspector as according to their claim some adverse entries were made prior to 4, 5 and 6 years respectively. 2. It transpires from the record that the petitioners have already approached the A.D.G. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, U.P. by making a representation. 3. In the given facts and circumstances, petitioners are directed to make fresh individual representations before the competent authority i.e. respondent no.2 within four weeks from today which shall be looked into and considered and disposed of by the competent authority be means of separate reasoned and speaking order within a further period of two months. 4.
