By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India the petitioner has prayed for consideration of his application for compassionate appointment as his father died in harness on 18.05.2017. 2. It transpires from the record that when the earlier application for seeking compassionate appointment dated 25.02.2022 had remained pending consideration before the competent authority namely respondent no.4, an enquiry was conducted in the matter and the widow of the deceased made a further request to the authority concerned for offering compassionate appointment to her elder son Kuldeep Bansal (petitioner) this time.
