By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioners to wear the uniform and badges as per PRD (Prantiya Rakshak Dal) Adhiniyam, 1947-48." 2. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of with direction to the petitioner to make representation regarding his claim within a period of four weeks from today before the competent authority i.e. Respondent no.5 which shall be looked into and considered and shall also be decided as expeditiously as possible preferably within a further period of two months by means of reasoned and speaking order.
