Petitioner wants consideration of his request for transfer in the light of circular letter issued on 06.03.2025 by the Uttar Pradesh Police Headquarters, Lucknow. It transpires that an exercise to identify the employees to be transferred is already underway to be completed by 20.04.2025. It is always open for an employee who is liable to be transferred to make appropriate request for adjustment at a desired place, if the policy does permit like that and vacancy does exist at the place of request. In such circumstances, no special direction is required to be issued, however, it is provided that petitioner shall have liberty to move appropriate representation in the light of circular letter dated 06.03.2025 before the competent authority and as and when the transfers are finalized by the respondents, the claim of petitioner shall be examined according
