By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner claims to have been appointed as District Programme Assistant on a contract basis under the contract and appointment order dated 28th December, 2018 and his contract has come to be renewed from time to time and currently still working on contract basis, however, he is not being paid honourarium for the period between April, 2024 and July, 2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in above regard petitioner has already represented the matter before the respondent No.- 8 by means of representation dated 27th November, 2024 but the same has remained pending till date. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in the event a direction is issued to the respondent No.- 8 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
