By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent nos. 2 and 3 to grant petitioner further six months' time for physical efficiency test on the ground that he had met an accident just before the examination and in which he suffered fracture on his right shoulder. 2. Petitioner claims that after the document verification and physical test that was held on 31.12.2024 petitioner was declared fit and was to appear in physical efficiency test on 12.02.2025 but he met an accident on the said date and resultant surgery in his right shoulder for which he was advised bed rest for 60 days. He was further advised best rest on 26.02.2025 for a further period of 60 days. Under the circumstances he missed opportunity to appear for physical efficiency test. 3. Learned Standing Counsel on the contrary submits that there is no such rule to grant relaxation
