By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for following relief: "(i) a writ of mandamus, commanding the Respondent Authorities, especially respondent no.5 to refix the pay/salary increment of the petitioners from 01.07.2016 instead of 01.01.2017 alongwith arrear, in accordance with law within short stipulated period. (ii) a writ order of direction in the nature of mandamus directing/commanding to respondent authorities to pay all the arrears and increment benefits to the petitioners in accordance with law." 3.
