By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no. 2 and 3 to grant petitioner further six months' time for physical eligibility test on the ground that he had met an accident just before the examination and in which he suffered fracture on his left leg and underwent surgery. Petitioner claims that after the document verification and physical test that was held on 31.1.2025 petitioner was declared fit and was to appear in physical eligibility test on 25.2.2025 but he met an accident on 28.12.2024 and resultant surgery in his leg for which he was advised bed rest upto 26.2.2025. He was further advised best rest on 15.2.2025 for a further period of 60 days. Under the circumstances he missed opportunity to appear for physical eligibility test.
