By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief: " Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider and sanction the benefit of third and fourth special assured career progression pay scale from the date when it became due to petitioner i.e. 26.3.1991 and 26.3.1998 effective from 1.12.2008 respectively, and accordingly revise the salary / pension of petitioner." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already approached the authority concerned by moving representation dated 27.08.2021, which is still pending consideration. Learned Standing Counsel does not have objection in the event direction is issued to the competent authority to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within a time bound period.
