The petitioner claimed to have been discriminated against in the matter of regular promotion to the post of Collection Peon, even though, various persons juniors to him have already offered appointment. He has appended a list of seniority of Seasonal Collection Peons of the district concerned. 2. Learned Standing Counsel is directed to obtain instructions from the District Magistrate Sant Kabir Nagar as to the allegation made with regard to the discrimination being meted out to the petitioner in the matter of promotion by the next date fixed. 3.
