Learned Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection as to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that the petitioner has efficacious alternative remedy of appeal under Rule 11 of the Uttar Pradesh Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 1999. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the above legal proposition. 5. In view of the above, I hereby decline to grant indulgence in the matter, at this stage. 6.
