This Court while entertaining this petition on 28th February, 2025 provided time to learned Standing Counsel to seek instructions in the matter. Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions and placed the same before this Court, which is taken on record. As per instructions, show cause notice was issued to only Mr. Kamlesh Kumar Rai, Joint Block Development Officer, Mau and instructions are silent about any show cause notice ever issued to the petitioner. In such circumstances natural corollary would be drawn that petitioner was never served with show cause notice whereas impugned order has come to be passed with adverse civil consequences . In such above view of the matter, the order dated 09.10.2024 passed by District Magistrate, Mau, respondent no. 2 is hereby quashed with consequential benefits. I
