Brief facts of the case is that pursuant to the advertisement dated 23.12.2023 issued by U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow for the post of Constable, petitioners have appeared in written examination. Being declared successful in written examination, they have been permitted to appear in physical standard test, in which their heights were less than minimum required height for male candidate i.e 168 centimeter. 3. It is a case of petitioner that height of petitioner was not properly measured and considering this fact, this Court vide order dated 17.02.2025 had directed for re-measurement of height of petitioner by a Medical Board. 4.
