Heard Ms. Abhilasha Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to consider the claim for giving service benefits for the period between 09.07.2007 and 27.01.2012. It is submitted that the petitioner has finally stood acquitted in the criminal case and therefore, the said period deserves to be accounted for service benefits. 3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in the above regard petitioner has already approached the competent authority in the matter, namely, respondent no.3 vide representation dated 20.03.2021. 4.
