Brief facts of the case is that pursuant to the advertisement dated 23.12.2023 issued by U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow for the post of Constable, petitioner has appeared in written examination. Being declared successful in written examination, he has been permitted to appear in physical standard test, in which his height was found 167.5 centimeter whereas minimum required height for male candidate is 168 centimeter. 3. It is a case of petitioner that height of petitioner was not properly measured and considering this fact, this Court vide order dated 20.02.2025 had directed for re-measurement of height of petitioner by a Medical Board. 4. Pursuant to the order dated 20.02.2025, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel ha
