The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are seeking police protection till the completion of the election for the Vice President of the Mandal Praja Parishad, Karempudi, Palnadu District, and also to install C.C.T.V. cameras for capturing the election process. 2. It is submitted that the petitioners have submitted a representation, dated 25.03.2025, to the 3rd respondent. It is also submitted that the respondents have not acted on the representation. The petitioners apprehends that they may be subjected to illegal confinement or any other illegal activity that could disturb the conduct of the election in a fair manner. 3
