It is further case of the petitioner that his ancestors initially occupied the land and were cultivating the same. He would further contend that the name of his grandfather was also mutated in the revenue records and after his demise, he came into possession of the subject land. 2. The petitioner further contends that, subsequently in recognition of his possession over the lands in dispute, the respondents issued pattadar passbooks in his favor after conducting enquiry.
