This petition in public interest has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to close down the unrecognized schools which are running in bulk in whole U.P. and who have not completed the norms and standards specified in the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (for short 'the Act') and to appoint Prosecution Officer for sanctioning the prosecution as specified under Section 36 of the Act. 2. Though, it has been indicated that petition of similar nature is not pending consideration before this Court, however, counsel for the petitioner points out that in Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 542 of 2024 filed by one Iddu at Lucknow, a detailed order has been passed by the Bench at Lucknow, wherein authorities have been directed to submit rep
