OFFICE Date ORDER No. NOTE 11 06.11.2025 BSB, J I.A.No.1 of 2025 This application is filed to correct the typographical error in the judgment of appeal as Rs.4,76,435/- (rupees four lakhs seventy six thousand four hundred and thirty five only) instead of Rs.1,76,435/- (rupees one lakh seventy six thousand four hundred and thirty five only). The petitioners / appellants filed claim petition seeking compensation of Rs.6,00,000/- before the Tribunal and paid Court fee thereon. When they filed the appeal, they sought compensation of Rs.9,00,000/-, however, they paid fixed Court fee of Rs.10 only on the appeal. After hearing the appeal on merits, this Court enhanced the amount of compensation from Rs.6,00,000/- to Rs.10,76,435/-, but directed to pay additional Court fee on Rs.1,76,435/-, instead of Rs.4,76,435/-. As such, it is required to amend the said direction in the judgment of appeal and the corresponding decree. Accordingly, the petition is allowed.
