The petitioner, i.e., Dhobi Ghat Jhuggi Adhikar Manch (hereinafter referred as ‘petitioner union’] is invoking the extra- ordinary jurisdiction of this Court by instituting the present writ petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, by seeking the following reliefs against the respondents herein: - “a. Direct the respondent no. 1, DDA to suspend further the demolition (if any) and maintain status quo at the JJ Slum, Dhobi Ghat, Batla House, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, South Delhi, Delhi- 110025 until all residents are surveyed and rehabilitated as per the DUSIB Policy; Signature Not Verified W.P. Direct respondents to immediately provide temporary shelter to the Petitioner with proper sanitation, clean water and hygienic conditions; e.
