THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE HARINATH.N CRIMINAL PETITION No.2719 OF 2025 ORDER: 1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arraigned as accused in Crime No.390 of 2024 of Kothapeta Police Station, Guntur District, registered for the alleged offence under Sections 353(2), 77 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000-2008 based on the complaint of the 2nd respondent. 3. The learned counsel further submits that, as per the allegations in the complaint, the alleged offences were attributed to one Peddireddy Sudharani, who alleged to have posted comments on the social media platform, i.e., Facebook, regarding the politician and their family members. It is further submitted that the petitioner is entirely unconnected to the allegations in the present complaint and has been implicated solely based on the confession of the co-accused.
