SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.2231 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner herein/Accused, seeking anticipatory bail, in connection with Crime No.132 of 2024 of Ponnaluru Police Station, Prakasam district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein for the offences punishable under Sections 85 and 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the accused used to harass the deceased both mentally and physically by suspecting her fidelity, due to which, on 06.11.2024 at about 14.00 hours, the deceased consumed rat poison to end her life. Thereupon, she was shifted to Government Hospital, Kandukur. On receipt of hospital intimation, the SHO, Kandukur Town Police Station visited the hospital, recorded the statement of the deceased and transferred the same to Ponnaluru Police Station on the point of jurisdiction. Subsequently, the deceased was 2 shifted to RIMS, Ongole, where she died on 10.11.2024 while undergoing treatment. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material on record goes to
