SURESH REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 1810 of 2025 ORDER: As per the directions of My Lord the Hon’ble the Chief Justice, this Criminal Petition has been allotted to this Bench by notice dated 25.3.2025 and the same is treated as part of the roster effective from 26.3.3025. 2. This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘the BNSS’), is filed by the petitioner/Accused, seeking anticipatory bail, in Crime No.258 of 2022 of Nallapadu Police Station, Guntur Urban District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 r/w 34 IPC. Subsequently, the offences under Sections 467 and 120-B IPC have been added. 3. The case of the prosecution is that the Chair Person of Gorantla Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society, Gorantla and others gave a report to the police stating that fake 1B Adangals and fake pattadar passbooks have been generated from the office of the Mandal Revenue Officer and on the basis of the said fake certificates loans were obtained from the banks by mortgaging the said 2 documents by the farmers.
