Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri G.P. Singh, learned A.G.A.-I for the State respondents. 2. The relief sought in this petition is for quashing of the F.I.R. dated 25.02.2025 registered as Case Crime No.36 of 2025 under Section 3(1) of U.P. Gangster and Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act 1986 IPC, Police Station Newadiya, District Jaunpur. Further prayer has been made not to arrest the petitioner in the aforesaid case. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while recommending and approving the gang-chart, the competent authority has utterly failed to apply independent mind because from perusal of the gang-chart, it is apparent that it was forwarded and approved in summary manner, on different dates at provided proforma, without convening joint meeting, which is in utter violation of Rule 5(3)(a) of the Rules
