This writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of the impugned First Information Report dated 25.02.2025, registered as Case Crime No. 0068 of 2025, Under Section- 137(2) B.N.S. of 2023 at Police Station-, District- Shamli and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of impugned First Information Report. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the first and the second petitioners, both from poor laborer families, are in a live-in relationship against the wishes of the parents of petitioner no.1, who oppose their interfaith union.
