Present writ petition has been preferred for quashing the First Information Report dated 24.1.2025 registered in case Crime no. 0018 of 2025, Under Sections 85(2), 85 of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (B.N.S.), 2023 and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 Police Station-Utraon, District Ganganagar (Commissionerate Prayagraj). 3. After substantial argument, once the court has declined to quash the impugned first information report, learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners do not want to press the writ petition and the same may be dismissed as not pressed and leave may be accorded to invoke the remedy as available in law. 4.
