The relief sought in this petition is in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent concerned to conclude the investigation of Lost Article Report (LAR) No. 20220000026844 dated 14-01-2022, Police Unit-SCRB, U.P. Lucknow as early as possible. 3. Considering the relief as has been prayed for, we have proceeded to examine the record and find that the Lost Article Report concerning a mobile was lodged on 14-01-2022. The petitioner has now approached this Court after a considerable lapse of time, without providing any satisfactory explanation for the delay.
