By means of the present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner is assailing the legal validity of First Information Report dated 19.02.2025, registered as Case Crime No.0119 of 2025 under Section 87 of the BNS 2023 at Police Station Khorabar, District Gorakhpur. 3. As per the allegations in the impugned First Information Report dated 19.02.2025, the informant has alleged that her daughter, aged about 20 years, went missing from her residence on the night of 18.02.2025 at approximately 11:00 PM. After an extensive search by family members and inquiries from relatives, she remained untraceable.
