This writ petition has been filed praying to quash the first information report dated 16-02-2025 registered as Case Crime No.21 of 2025, under Sections 351(2) and 87 of B.N.S., 2023, Police Station Barsathi, District Jaunpur and not to arrest the petitioners pursuant to the said FIR. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 solemnized their marriage on 19-02-2025 at Arya Samaj Chowk, Prayagraj. They have also sworn an affidavit before the Sub-Registrar, Tehsil Mariyahu, District Jaunpur. Since they are living together as husband and wife, the First Information Report is liable to be quashed. 4. Learned A.G.A has given a nod to the said situation.
