The present writ petition has been preferred with the prayer to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 17.12.2023, arising out of Case Crime No. 462 of 2023, under Sections 498A, 323, 313, 354, 376, 504, 506, 120 B I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Subhash Nagar, District Bareilly and with a further prayer not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of the impugned F.I.R. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the impugned First Information Report was lodged due to a matrimonial dispute. However, the parties have since reached a compromise, and an application under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, has already been filed by them.
