The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Sahir Khan, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 54 of 2023, under Section 3/5A/5B/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955, Police Station- Chandauli, District- Chandauli. In the prosecution case, it is alleged that police party received information from the secret informer that a truck bearing registration no. UP 21 CT 2943 is coming from Varanasi and is about to go towards West Bengal via Bihar. On this information, the said vehicle was stopped and searched and from the container of the vehicle, 18 live cattle and 5 dead cattle were found.
