Applicant seeks bail in Case Crime No. 377 of 2024, U/S 376, 328, 504, 506 IPC, Police Station Bansdih, District Ballia, during the pendency of trial. 4. As per prosecution story, the applicant is stated to have spiked the drink of the victim and had committed rape with her on 23.5.2024 at about 11.00 pm. The applicant is stated to be the relative of the victim. He is stated to have even video-recorded the said act and had threatened the victim to make it viral on social media. 5. Learned counsel for the applicant has argued that the applicant is absolutely innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case with a view to cause unnecessary harassment and to victimize him.
