The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Mohit Kaushik, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 178 of 2023, under Sections- 406, 411, 419, 420, 467 of IPC and 66 D of the I.T. Act, Police Station- Ranipur, District- Mau, during pendency of trial. There are allegations of commission of online fraud in the F.I.R. registered against unknown accused. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the name of the applicant has surfaced in the confessional statement of co- accused persons. The applicant has been falsely implicated in this case. He has criminal history of one case to his credit and is languishing in jail since 06.02.2024.
