This bail application has been preferred by the accused-applicant, Mohit Sen, who is involved in Case Crime No. 16/2024, under Section 8/20/29 of N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station- Malawan, District- Etah. There are allegations that 51 plastic containers each containing 1 packet weighing about 1 Kg were recovered from the trunk in a truck. All packets recovered were opened and the goods in the packets were mixed and, thereafter, mixture, was refilled in 17-39 empty sacks and were weighed together which came to 1041 Kg. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that by way of Notification dated 23 December, 2022, the Union Government has notified the enactment Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Seizure, Storage, Sampling and Disposal) Rules, 2022.
