The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “(a) Allow the present Writ Petition and Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the Respondent no.1/MCD prohibiting Respondent no.1/MCD to not frequently harass and give threats the Petitioner to displace from his hawking/ squatting site/ Tea stall situated at the back lane of D-7 and D-39 NDSE- II, New Delhi.” 2.
