Heard Smt. Kalpana Singh, learned counsel for the applicant, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.G.A for the State. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant was not named in the FIR. After 24 hours of the incident, name of the applicant has surfaced in the confessional statement of an eye witness. He has not been assigned any specific role. The applicant is in jail since 28.03.2025 and he has no previous criminal history. On the other hand learned A.G.A. as well as learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail.
