By means of this bail application the applicant has prayed to be enlarged on bail in Case Crime No. 528 of 2024 at Police Station Bahjoi, District Sambhal under Sections 80(2), 85, 103. (1) of B.N.S. The applicant is in jail since 02.10.2024. The bail application of the applicant was rejected by the learned trial court on 17.02.2025. The applicant, who is the husband of the deceased, has been identified as the principal offender who strangulated his wife to death. Medical evidence corroborates the prosecution case. The post mortem report also depicts antemortem injuries to the person of deceased. Enlarging the applicant on bail at this stage will not be conducive to a fair trial. The offence is grave.
