The present bail application has been filed by the applicant in Case Crime No. 285 of 2021, under Sections 3/5A/5B/8 Cow Slaughter Act, 3/11 Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Section 429 I.P.C., P.S.- Dhanghata, District- Sant Kabir Nagar, with the prayer to enlarge him on bail. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant-accused argued that applicant is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. As per prosecution version, twenty five cow specie animals were being transported in a vehicle for the purpose of slaughtering. It is submitted that applicant is not named in the first information report. The involvement of the applicant has been shown on the basis of statement of owner of said vehicle, who has inter alia stated that he has given his vehicle to applicant and three co- accused persons.
