The present bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant in case crime No. 391 of 2023, under Section 8/22 of N.D.P.S. Act, police station Hayatnagar, District Sambhal, with the prayer to enlarge the applicant on bail. 3. It has been argued by learned counsel for applicant-accused that the applicant is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It was submitted that recovery of 500 tablets of alprazolam (total weight 52 gram) is said to have been made from possession of the applicant, which is less than commercial quantity. It was submitted that the alleged recovery is false and baseless and that there is no independent witness of the said recovery. It was stated that the mandatory provisions of N.D.P.S.
