This petition was filed in January, 2008 seeking a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to harass the petitioner unless in accordance with law. Apparently, no interim order was passed by the Court and the petition has remained pending for about 17 years, to which a counter affidavit was filed on 24.07.2008 denying the averments made in the writ petition. 3. Looking to the nature of the relief claimed way back in the year 2008 and 17 years have passed ever since and petitioner, apparently, has not cared for all these years to pursue the matter, the same is dismissed as having become infructuous.
