None is present for the respondent nos. 2 and 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondent no.1. It is an admitted position of facts that the substantive claim of pension has duly been redressed from the due date in terms of the Judgment impugned here in this writ petition. The petitioners have confined the challenge only to the extent of interest which the Tribunal has ordered as per the prevailing bank rate on the amount due. Learned counsel for the petitioners has emphasized on the order dated 20.2.2025 passed by the Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.3933 of 2023, Union of India and another Vs. M. Siddaraj. We have gone through the directions issued by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the aforementioned case and do not gather from any of the directions issued that the same is applicable to the interest due on an admissible claim.
