By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has assailed the order dated 19.01.10217, whereby, his services have been dispensed with only account of conviction in a criminal case. 3. It is argued on behalf of the petitioner that at least a show cause notice was required to be given to the petitioner taking the recourse to the provisions as contemplated under Article 311(2) so as to form a view by the disciplinary authority that conduct of the petitioner in the criminal case the moral turpitude so as to not continue in employment. He thus contended that merely on account of conviction in a criminal case, services of the petitioner do not result in termination of employment ipso facto. 4.
