By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order of pay fixation dated 3.3.2023 by which the pay fixation has been done with effect from 08.10.2008 whereas the petitioner has already retired on 31.3.2023. 3. It is contended that the petitioner has been communicated with the letter dated 3.3.2023 on 10.7.2023, by which the adjustment of the excess payment of salary on account of wrong pay fixation has been done. It is contended that the petitioner being a Group 'C' employee of the respondent-establishment could not have been saddled with a recovery for any excess payment due to wrong pay fixation which the respondents states to have occurred in the year 2008 itself.
