Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 699/22 of PS Uttam Nagar for the offence under Section 498A/406 IPC on the ground that he has compromised the matrimonial disputes with complainant de facto (respondent no.2). 2. As reflected from the record, the petition was firstly listed before this bench on 03.07.2025 and on that day, the petitioner handed over to respondent no.2 the full and final settlement amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- by way of a demand draft. Thereafter, statements of both the parties were recorded by the concerned Joint Registrar.
