Akanksha Sharma Hon'ble Arun Bhansali,Chief Justice Hon'ble Kshitij Shailendra,J. 1. Writ petition seeking protection has been filed by the appellants being Writ C No. 5638 of 2025. 2. The learned Single Judge, on coming to the conclusion that as the appellant no. 1 was in live-in-relationship with appellant no. 2, no writ under Article 226 of the Constitution of India can be issued in their favour and consequently dismissed the writ petition. 3. Learned counsel for the appellants made submissions that the learned Single Judge was not justified in dismissing the writ petition only on account of the fact that the appellants were in live- in-relationship. 4. When a query was made to the counsel for the appellants as to what nature of police protection was required and how the direction given by the Court can be enforced, submissions were made that directions be issued to the police not to harass the appellants. 5.
